Tierra Dynamic Company Awarded Hazardous Waste Response ID/IQ Contract by Tyndall Air Force Base (AFB), FL

Phoenix, AZ, October 28, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Tierra Dynamic Company (TDC) is very pleased to announce that their firm was recently awarded an indefinite delivery / indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract from the Department of the Air Force, Air Education and Training Command Tyndall Air Force Base (AFB), Florida. The contract is a $4.0 Million, 5-year ID/IQ acquisition; and TDC was the sole awardee under a Small Business set-aside.

The Tyndall AFB ID/IQ acquisition was completed under NAICS code 562910. Under the contract, TDC will provide emergency and non-emergency response and cleanup activities related to spills and accidental discharges of hazardous and non-hazardous materials, including but not limited to, various petroleum products, synthetic lubricants, cooling fluids, solvents, paint, raw sewage, and industrial or sewage sludge’s. Spills and accidental discharges can be onto the ground, into the water, into the sewer system, onto paved surfaces, and into containment areas on Tyndall AFB, including the waters adjacent to the Base. Waterways potentially impacted could include wetlands or bayous on the Base, as well as waters within St. Andrew Bay (inclusive of East Bay) and the Gulf of Mexico. Tyndall Air Force Base has contracted TDC to provide turn-key response, cleanup and waste disposal services to these incidents on an as-needed basis.
