eduVision 2020 - the Platform That Creates a Common Vision for Education
The international conference aimed to present the latest trends in education and eLearning, eduVision 2020, took place recently, in Romania.
Bucharest, Romania, November 02, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The platform eduVision 2020 aims to provide an active and efficient support for promoting, validating and generalizing concepts and strategies for organic integration of IT&C into school education.
The conference, attended by high level representatives of Education Ministers from more than 25 countries from Europe, Middle East, Africa and CIS, as well as executive management of all participating countries, brought to debate best practices regarding the use of IT&C solutions in education and newest tendencies in eLearning implementation.
“SIVECO’s eLearning expertise results not only in supplying IT solutions, but also in its capability of managing eLearning projects and assuring the know-how transfer towards the pedagogical area. We expect major improvements at this level, as we observe a clear migration from a traditional level to a collaborative learning style that provides students with a more creative approach for acquiring information,” said Irina Socol, President and CEO of SIVECO Romania.
The Initiative focused on international best practices that use IT&C to demonstrate the positive impact on equal access to opportunities for a successful career and on reducing disparities in readiness for the Information Society. It focused of creating premises for increasing the performance of school education from the perspective of a first level of preparation of a workforce compatible with the needs of the global labor market.
The event was organized by SIVECO Romania and Agora Group, under the patronage of the Ministry of Education in Romania, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Communications and Information Society.
The Initiative acknowledges and endorses the principles and objectives set forth in the collaborative process conducted within the World Summit on the Information Society, as well as those established under the European Union's Digital Agenda for Europe.
