Laboratory Testing Inc. Announces Promotions in the Nondestructive Testing Ultrasonic Testing Department

Growth in immersion and contact ultrasonic testing at Laboratory Testing Inc. has led to promotions in the NDT Ultrasonic Testing Department. Two UT Supervisors and an ultrasonic testing specialist for training, quoting and technical questions were announced.

Hatfield, PA, November 03, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Sales growth has prompted Laboratory Testing Inc. (LTI) to create new positions and promote employees in the company’s Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Department. The Department utilizes five high-speed immersion systems to inspect round material as small as 1/8 inch outside diameter and up to 70 feet in length. There is also a C-Scan immersion tank for testing oversized material up to 16 feet long and up to a weight of 3000 pounds, and contact equipment for materials outside these ranges.

As part of the changes, Steve Walmsley of Souderton, PA will complete the UT Level III certification exam.
