Oceanside BNI® Chapter Welcomes Visitors
Local networking group seeks professionals to whom they can refer business
Greenland, NH, November 04, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Oceanside chapter of BNI® (Business Network International) New Hampshire will host a Visitor’s Day on November 17, 2011 from 7:30 – 9:30am at the Portsmouth Country Club, in Greenland, New Hampshire. The event is an opportunity for small business owners and entrepreneurs to experience the immense business opportunities that come from networking in BNI.
The Oceanside BNI Chapter currently has 34 members and over the last twelve months has passed 1,110 referrals, resulting in more than $700K in take home business for the members. The chapter invites local professionals and small business owners to attend the Visitor’s Day to learn more about the organization and how word-of-mouth marketing and referrals have changed members businesses. The chapter is currently looking to pass referrals to the following professions (including but not limited to):
· Massage Therapist
· Electrician
· Interior Design
· Payroll Services
· Roofing/Gutters
BNI is a business referral organization that has been in existence for over 26 years. The organization’s primary purpose is to assist its members in finding and exchanging qualified business referrals for one another and to develop effective word-of-mouth marketing techniques. Unlike other networking groups, BNI provides its members with a professional structure and an on-going training system. By becoming a BNI member, professionals are provided with continuing marketing education, the sharing of ideas and contacts, and tools to help them grow their businesses, both in and out of the organization. BNI only allows one member per profession to join a chapter, therefore, members do not see direct competition within their own chapter.
The meeting is open to anyone interested in attending and coffee and refreshments will be served. Visitors should plan to bring lots of business cards and get ready to network.
