GDFII/L&P (China) Will Defend Non-infringement Position of Tate & Lyle Sucralose Patents
In response to the recent complaint by Tate & Lyle Sucralose, Inc. to the ITC of patent infringement, GDFII/L&P affirms that it will vigorously defend its non-infringement position.
Guangzhou, China, April 24, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Tate & Lyle Sucralose, Inc. recently filed a complaint with the United States International Trade Commission (ITC) (DN: 2540) to try to block the manufacture and distribution of sucralose by Guangdong Food Industry Institute and L&P Food Ingredient Co. Ltd. (GDFII/L&P).
Hellen Li, General Manager of L&P, commented that "Tate & Lyle’s complaint to the United States International Trade Commission (ITC) is completely without merit and is allegedly an improper attempt to unfairly damage our business and reputation."
GDFII/L&P have always respected the international intellectual property rights of others and will continue to follow that philosophy in the future. GDFII/L&P stand ready to try to resolve this matter amicably with Tate & Lyle, but if necessary, will confidently and vigorously defend our position before the ITC.
