A Sheffield-based couple have followed their passions and opened their own online store, RusticDisguise.com. The store aims to offer vintage style rustic homeware and gifts at an affordable price.

Sheffield couple, Victoria Hides and David Wombell, have today announced the launch of a brand new online gifts and homeware website called Rustic Disguise. Despite the tough current economic climate the entrepreneurs are determined to build an established and recognised brand in the heart of Sheffield.
Rustic Disguise offer a range of homeware and gifts to suit any décor, style and budget. They aim to differentiate themselves from competitors by offering quality products, ethically sourced at a reasonable price whilst ensuring that all items meet their own high standards.
The couple met over two years ago in Sheffield where the seed for the business was first sewn. With David’s online skills and Victoria’s creative nature a website business was the logical next step, and so RusticDisguise.com was born.
Victoria commented, “From a young age I have always dreamt of running my own business, I have passion for home décor and styles that are typically rustic, traditional, and of a country cottage style. I believe all styles should have a timeless quality and I hope our website and products are reflective of this. Having personally never been able to afford such luxuries I wanted to create a business that made the style I love accessible.”
Looking ahead, the couple hope to build the online side of their business over the next few years, with the eventual aim of opening their own emporium in Sheffield. The online business currently stocks a range of unique items such as chandeliers, handmade jewellery and gift sets. New lines are added regularly to make the most of the seasonal calendar.
