North Bethesda, MD, November 12, 2011 --(PR.com
)-- Storage Village will be saying “Thank You” to its community by helping to ensure that no neighbor goes hungry this Thanksgiving. Through its “Room for Dinner” campaign, Storage Village will be feeding families in the Baltimore-Washington area that would otherwise be unable to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal.
Through the annual Room For Dinner initiative, Storage Village will donate a Thanksgiving meal to a family in need for each unit rented November 1-17. The company has pledged a minimum of 100 meals. They have put no maximum on the number of meals they are prepared to donate, and look forward to breaking the minimum for the 2nd year in a row.
“Storage Village Self Storage is thankful that we will be able to help over 100 families enjoy a Thanksgiving meal by providing them with Thanksgiving Dinner.” -L. Goldberg, President Storage Village Self Storage
Storage Village’s North Bethesda location is partnering with the Holiday Giving Project of Montgomery County, an annual initiative that has helped our low-income neighbors celebrate Thanksgiving and the December holidays for over 30 years.
Storage Village’s assistance to the Holiday Giving Project marks just one of the many ways Storage Village exemplifies and encourages its core values of excellence, integrity, and community service. In addition to donating food themselves, each store hosts a year round canned food collection center to provide a constant source of alleviation of hunger for their neighbors.
Storage Village is proud to be an active member in their community. As “the trusted home for your possessions,” they invite anyone in need of extra space that would like to help put an end to hunger to visit their facility. Storage Village is located behind White Flint Mall at 4950 Nicholson Court.
