EIM Unveils New Modular Employee Engagement Technology

EIM’s new Employee Engagement technology gives users the power to tailor programs based on their specific needs.

Dayton, OH, November 12, 2011 --(PR.com)-- EIM (Excellence In Motivation) announces the launch of a new Employee Engagement technology – the latest innovation the company has unveiled on its new Element™ platform. The EIM Employee Engagement solution consists of six independent modules targeted at improving common areas within corporate and employee engagement, including: Recognition, Budget Management, Service Anniversary, Instant Reward Cards, Spotlight and Social.

The modules allow customers to select and tailor their employee engagement programs based on their specific needs, and allow users to “pick and choose” the modules that are most meaningful to them.

“What we have found over the years is that there is not a ‘one size fits all’ technology solution,” said Richelle Taylor, Employee Engagement Product Manager. “Every client has unique corporate values, business practices and priorities. Our systems have been built with flexibility and configurability in mind while leveraging standard best practices that are proven to produce performance improvement results.”

Within the Recognition module, clients can set up programs with or without awards, make the program visible or not to particular users within the system, as well as send a corporate-branded recognition via email or in print format. The system includes a library of eCard designs, or clients can use their own. In addition, users and managers can track and report on all recognition activity pertaining to them or their direct reports with the flexibility to track specific recognitions from creation through delivery.

The Budget Management module works closely with the Recognition module to enable companies to create budgets, roll them down to subordinates, set budget thresholds and track approval/spending activity across the organization. The budget approval process is set by the clients, keeping them in control of program spending at all times. The graphic reporting features provide a bird’s eye view of all budget trees from the top down, and can be set with permissions based on user role.

The Service Anniversary module offers companies the option of awarding points or gifts to employees. The module is also configurable to allow each company to establish its own milestones of service and the value of the award associated with each milestone. All Service recipients are notified automatically through an electronic recognition which is personalized and delivered to them on their date of hire. Administrators can track upcoming service anniversaries as well as customize the award offerings and report on activity within the module.

Instant Reward Cards is a module that enables managers to distribute awards to employees “on the spot,” and are perfect for non-desk environments or call centers. This highly configurable module allows clients to define a corporate-branded design for the Instant Reward Card, set minimum/maximum award values, establish configurable expiration dates, order multiple card quantities, and set variable card values. In addition, a custom message can be tailored for the recipient of the card to see upon online redemption for a job well done.

The Spotlight module gives companies the power to feature an individual for exemplary effort and provides the ability to upload an image, write an acknowledgement and, best of all, tie the Spotlight to a core corporate value or reason for the Spotlight. The technology allows for multiple employees to be in the Spotlight at the same time, as well as the option to schedule Spotlights to go live on dates in the future to keep engagement fresh and current.

With social media at the forefront of collaboration and communication, EIM's Social module gives companies the ability to enhance their employee programs by engaging all levels of the organization through Polls, Forums, News Feeds, Blogs and Events widgets which can be easily configured on a client-by-client basis.

All EIM Employee Engagement modules come with mini-ad hoc reporting capabilities including filtering, sorting, graphics, grouping and other easy-to-use features that empower users to tailor reports to their specific role and needs.

“EIM continues to pursue emerging technologies and build its products with growth in mind,” said Bob Miller, President & CEO. “Our client solutions typically grow over time as companies onboard additional areas of their company or embrace additional features. Our goal is to address the challenges of today with a technology system that can evolve to meet the needs of the future.”

EIM formally demonstrated its Employee Engagement technology at the HR Technology Expo in Las Vegas in October 2011 to rave reviews. EIM plans to launch more modules in 2012 to address sales incentives, gaming and learning reinforcement. All modules are supported by Element, EIM’s CMS-based technology platform released in the summer of 2011.
