About the featured choreographer
Rosie Multari, an NTA Accredited Line Dance Instructor and certified Fitness Specialist and Gerontologist, has been teaching line dancing in New Jersey since early 1993. A confessed Country music convert, Multari was introduced to line dancing when she choreographed a C/W Workout Video for fitness star Denise Austin in 1992. Since then, she has taught master classes in 29 states and 10 countries, produced and starred in a video fundraiser for the "Make-A-Wish Foundation," and choreographed another Country Workout video and Infomercial for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. Multari is a proud member of the Jersey Girls Dance Group. Her original dances have been published in several Country Dance magazines and publications. In 2011, she took home two First Place awards for her choreography. For seven years, Multari was a member of the Dancing for the Dream Team, working along with founders Scooter Lee and Jo Thompson, to introduce line dancing as a fun way to exercise for a healthier, active lifestyle. She was a Board member of D4D and the creator of GRACE, a training program for instructors of Active Adults. Currently, Multari is the co-director of two annual dancing conferences.
