Firm Claims its Body Oars Will Do for Fitness What Wheels Did for Transportation

Body Oars convert the legs and arms into ridged oars, so every ounce of effort the most powerful body core muscles can exert, can finally be exercised. Fully loaded full range core motion, without an ounce of impact means that a 600 pound person can now comfortably run a daily core muscle marathon. Body Oars bypass the knees so the ability to walk is not needed, they only work with a life jacket, so no need to learn to swim so they are a huge leap for pro athletes the elderly and disabled.

Columbus, OH, April 27, 2007 --(PR.com)-- If you believe that mankind has already discovered all simple devices, reopen your thoughts, well that is according to Steven Craig of High Efficiency Fitness, a Columbus Ohio firm, introducing their first fitness product, Body Oars.

Essentially Body Oars turn the extremities into rigid boat oars so the effort to drive them can only come directly from the body’s most powerful muscles.

Their Lower Body Oars must be used with either a life jacket, flotation belt or a body harness (for the fully disabled) in water that is deep enough to avoid contact with hard surfaces.

Their web site explains how artificial body support frees all muscles from supporting the body, so all of their effort can go to overcoming resistance.

Steven said, “Physical trainers have not yet applied simple engineering principles to the human body.” He gave “The Principle of the Chain” for example.

“Imagine a chain that goes from big strong links down to much smaller ones. If you place the load on those small links, then the chain can only load (without breaking) as much resistance as its weakest links can handle, not a hair more. The arms and legs are no different. The bones joints and muscles linked to the body core are much larger, stronger, and more stable, and they steadily decrease as they move farther from the core.

“The human body also uses the same engineering principles as levers and cranes, yet almost every exercise or device people use to build up their running stamina or lifting power still places the full load in the hands or on the feet, those weak links.

“This means traditional methods do not exercise more then 10-30% of the core muscle potential.”

He explained that light athletes are the higher end of that scale because while suspended in water, a person’s weight becomes a very minor factor, so the larger the person the more they will be able to do.

“How much stronger is a hip then an ankle? That is the amount of additional resistance Body Oars load straight onto the core muscles that power our walking, running, jumping and lifting,” he said.

“The combination of both the resistance load and body support attached to the largest links allows the core muscles to exert 4 to 8 times more force then physical law will allow from hard running, aerobics, free weights or any other foot/hand loaded machine.

“To look at this another way, Body Oars could condition huge athletes to run like freight trains because they won’t put them through the impact of hard running exercises. A 350 pound Offensive lineman could power drive his mobility muscles through a 2 hour marathon 3 or 4 times a week.

“Most importantly, these same principles may give mobility and thus life quality back to millions of elderly, massively obese, and disabled people.

“When the extremities don’t bend all of the effort to move them comes from the muscles attached to the body core. So if you reinforce them so they can’t bend or break, you can then tap directly into all of the effort the core muscles can apply.

“However the extremities alone are not large enough to displace enough water to provide maximum resistance. So by extending the bracing beyond the small links (hands and feet) to fight resistance the load can then be indefinitely locked in alinment with core muscle motion. Like boat paddles, the extremities can then offer unlimited loadable resistance directly to the body’s most powerful muscles without the bone and joint beating."

Mr. Craig also explained how Body Oars can be adjusted do both Stamina training with resistance that is stout enough to maintain training heart rates or massive loads to rapidly build muscle mass:

“A Body Oar can also be adjusted to displace thousands of pounds of water through a single stroke (if the person is strong enough). This setting is simply for building brut strength.”

He then said “We can build them to grab more water then King Kong could drive through a full stride."

He also added some warnings. “The exercise Body Oars were designed to enhance, WaterWalking, is the world’s only exercise that can place strong resistance on every skeletal muscle from the tips of the toes to the tips of the fingers, with almost constant exertion through full range motions, so a beginner’s heart rate can maximize in seconds, and with very little pain to draw attention to it.

“So do not try these exercises or Body Oars without a doctor supervising you, at least at first.”

He also said he learned the hard way that when you bypass your little muscles and joints to tap all of the effort the biggest muscles it is very easy to strain them if you trying driving Body Oars that are to big for you.

He said, “That load might be ten times greater then any load that has ever reached your core before. Even Kong would have to build up to a super sized set of our Raw Power Body Oars.”

When asked about replacing traditional methods he said: “Like carving a statue out of stone instead of sand, Body Oars will provide traditional devices a very easy body to chisel out much faster.

“Muscles developed using Body Oars are large, flexible and very powerful however they look soft and mushy since they were developed by full range loading.

“Traditional methods maximize effort at peeks of a muscle range, which cuts in that beautiful muscle definition. Body Oars will make the core so strong that those machines will be far more effective in mush less time.”

He said that this company is like no other fitness company, as most are founded by athletes who continued to improve old fitness methods; they see themselves more like nerds who just applied simple structural engineering principles to understand the physical limitations and the potential of the human body. Steven had spent ten years building new homes and he was tired of getting beat up with traditional cardio exercises.

He also explained many other areas that Body Oars are unparalleled. But they are listed, along with video clips at BodyOars.com, or HEfitness.com. But is you forget those names, just Google ‘Body Oars’ or ‘High Efficiency Cardio’. You can also email Steven Craig at steven@hefitness.com
