OMNIPOL a.s. Acquires ERA a.s.

One of the Czech Republic’s leading trading companies acquires ERA a.s. - the manufacturer of unique aircraft surveillance technology for passive surveillance of aviation, surface installations and naval vessels.

Prague, Czech Republic, December 14, 2011 --(PR.com)-- OMNIPOL a.s. and ERA a.s., a former subsidiary of SRA International, Inc. announced today OMNIPOL's success over other strong bidders in a tender to acquire ERA a.s.. As a result OMNIPOL has purchased 100% of the shares of ERA a.s. and thus acquired complete control over its future development.

OMNIPOL, a Prague-based company, has traditionally focused on civil and military monitoring equipment and reconnaissance technology. Now OMNIPOL has strengthened its market offerings with the acquisition of the world’s premier provider of civil and military aircraft multilateration based surveillance technology and manufactured by ERA a.s., Pardubice, Czech Republic. ERA a.s. provides global deliveries of passive and active multilateration solutions designed for airport surface and en route aircraft tracking. ERA's military division specialises in the manufacture of mobile and stationary systems for the passive tracking of aircraft, as well as naval and ground targets that could pose a threat to sovereign airspace, naval and ground installations.
