Orange County Kung Fu School Partners with Toys for Tots

Dana Point, CA, November 26, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Dragon Institute has partnered with Toys for Tots to collect new, unwrapped toys during November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the south Orange County community.

"For us, Kung Fu is much more than punching and kicking. It's about character, leadership and caring," said Elisabeth Klatt, The Dragon Institute's Toys for Tots coordinator. "Partnering with Toys for Tots is a natural extension of our on-going leadership and character development efforts to improving the lives of children in the Orange County community."

"Through this partnership, we can help bring a message of hope to needy kids to help them grow into responsible, productive leaders," said Sifu Adam Williss, Program Director and Head Instructor. "The Dragon Institute is proud to help children in need experience the joy of Christmas."

The Dragon Institute is an Orange County Kung Fu school located in Dana Point, CA. It offers 96 different Kung Fu classes per month. Specializing in the Wing Chun Kung Fu system made famous by Bruce Lee and Ip Man, the school offers classes for kids ages 4+ in addition to its adult Wing Chun, self-defense and qigong programs. It was chosen "Best Martial Arts in Orange County" by the local FOX station affiliate.

Toys for Tots is run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve. While the Marines coordinate and manage the program, the foundation’s success depends on their partnership and support of local community leaders like The Dragon Institute.
