)-- Kimberley Alpine Resort has announced that due to a large snowfall on November 23rd they are now able to open the hill early. The Pre-Preview Weekend commences on December 3rd and 4th.
As of today the Alpine resort has 135 centimeters of snow with 5 centimeters falling in the past 24 hours. Brian De Paoli, of Okko Communities comments, “There is a French proverb that quotes ‘A year of Snow, A year of Plenty’, and never has that been more applicable. As a sales manager of Sullivan Landing in Kimberley, it’s great to see such heavy snowfall this early in the season–we're looking forward to the increase in visitors to our community."
Following their Preview Weekend, the resort is also open for the following weekend (December 10th and 11th). Kimberley Alpine Resort will open daily for the season starting December 16th.
