Atlanta, GA, December 01, 2011 --(PR.com
)-- Insight Global, Inc., A Staffing Services Company, is continuing their philanthropic efforts nationwide. This year, the company has donated time and resources to various not-for-profit companies across the country. Along with the current nationwide toy drive for “Marine Toys for Tots,” individual offices have chosen to give back to local charities as well.
Over the past weeks, members of the Insight Global Philadelphia office held a drive for canned goods and cash donations to the local organization, Philabundance. The mission of Philabundance is to fight hunger across 9 counties in the Delaware Valley through support and donations from farms, community food drives and grocery stores. They brought their donations this weekend to the “Camp out for Hunger,” sponsored by local radio station 93.3 WMMR, which took place in Plymouth Meeting near the Insight Global office. The camp out was held to encourage the community to be involved, and the Insight Global office was excited to give back.
Colleen Shervin, Philadelphia Account Manager, expressed “we had so much fun gathering food and getting monetary donations as an office. The experience really brought us closer together as an office as we were able to help our community in a very tangible way.”
Insight Global is a privately held Atlanta-based organization that provides long term, short term, and temp-to-permanent technical staffing services throughout the United States and Canada.
