Amerifresh Opens New Texas Location

A new Texas office opened by fresh produce marketer Amerifresh uses the newly expanded border crossing at McAllen to provide more fresh produce to the East Coast, Midwest and Eastern Canadian areas.

Scottsdale, AZ, December 04, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Amerifresh has opened a new office in San Antonio to develop relationships with new growers and more efficiently serve existing and new customers.

“This new office allows us to add several new large growers in Mexico and to become more competitive in increasing and supplying customers in the Midwest, East Coast and Eastern Canadian markets,” said Denny Domagala, President & CEO.

Kenny Meyer has been named the new sales manager. Meyer will be adding more sales associates as volume in the new office increases and will be instrumental in monitoring the company’s extensive quality assurance program.

The new Amerifresh office takes advantage of the recently expanded infrastructure and modernized highway at the Texas-Mexico border crossing at McAllen. The expanded capacity at the crossing increases product availability and better supply for U.S. customers.

Domagala says the San Antonio office will work closely with the company’s Phoenix office because both offer similar products and have similar customers.
