For more than 30 years, "Buchanans" has been a southwest tradition, featuring the largest selection of quality antiques and collectibles for both the serious collector and amateur decorator. Each month hundreds of dealers from across the United States sell treasures and hard-to-find items such as furniture, glassware, pottery, china, books, quilts, shabby chic, collectible toys, clocks, artwork, memorabilia, vintage clothing and much more.
This monthly market originated in January 1995 and has grown to be one of the finest and most respected antique and collectible markets in the United States. Featuring more than 85,000 square feet filled with antiques and collectibles dealers from across the United States and Europe, this market is visited by thousands of eager-to-buy customers and collectors each month. Many people travel to the Dallas area from around the country to attend the show.
“We’re bringing some new pieces just on the market from our Jim Morrison of The Doors collection including hand-written manuscripts, autographed fine art photography from Neil Zlozower, Ron Raffaelli and myself, a collection of tour guitar picks, backstage pass and concert T-shirts that features many hard rock icons like Van Halen and Guns n Roses, as well as hundreds of vintage records from The Beatles, Elvis and many more,” said Andrew Kirby, Executive Producer of The Rare Collections. “We’ve also gathered some unique holiday gift items for the show, like collectible ornaments, handbags and accessories made from vintage records.”
The Rare Collections is where top collectors turn to archive, preserve, appraise and disperse their most prized pieces of pop culture and rock-n-roll memorabilia. We help collectors tell the stories behind each treasure, understand its importance in history and decide how best to preserve its legacy or realize its value.
