St. Mary Medical Center Circle of Caring Foundation Selects Gary Hubbell Consulting for Strategic Planning Services

St. Mary Medical Center Circle of Caring Foundation has retained the services of Gary Hubbell Consulting as it embarks on its first strategic planning process.

Milwaukee, WI, May 03, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Founded in 1880 by the Sisters of Providence, St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla, Washington has grown to become a full-service, non-profit hospital with a long tradition of excellence in caring. In 2007 it became one of only 16 hospitals in the United States to receive top 100 hospital designations both for patient care, safety and organizational excellence as well as for maintaining low health care prices for patients.

With a strong and robust St. Mary Medical Center soon to complete its own planning process, Circle of Caring Foundation board and staff decided to initiate their own comprehensive planning process to chart direction for the next three to five years. Gary Hubbell Consulting will design and facilitate planning discussions, as well as conducting constituent and marketplace giving research.

Dennis Maughan, Director of Development, said “As our foundation board began the task of identifying firms to assist us in our strategic planning process, I remembered hearing a great presentation from Gary Hubbell given at our annual philanthropy director's conference. Gary came highly recommended by several other hospital foundation directors. We especially were impressed with his comprehensive planning process and ability to quickly relate to board and community members.”
