CAI Conducts 2011-2012 North Carolina Healthcare Benefits & Cost Survey


Human Resource Management Firm Collects Data for a Localized Analysis on Healthcare Market Trends

Raleigh, NC, December 15, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Bruce Clarke, President and CEO of CAI (http://www.capital.org), a human resource management firm that helps organizations maximize employee engagement while minimizing employer liability, has announced that the firm is actively conducting data research for the 2011-2012 North Carolina Healthcare Benefits & Cost Survey. The information collected will outline current healthcare market trends along with benefit design and costs. The results, which will be collected through Friday, Dec. 16, will include impacts and reactions on the healthcare reform and the changes in rates for employer annual contributions.

The 2010 survey collected data from more than 700 North Carolina employers and provided a market prospective in regard to plan design, premium rates, employer contributions, plan costs and cost-sharing arrangements. Research showed the average premium cost for single coverage was $5,187 per year for a traditional plan and $14,852 for average family coverage.
