The System Within Film Production, LLC Set to Release First Motion Picture an Urban Drama Entitled "The System Within"
Movie premiere open to the public in Nashville TN. "The System Within," is their first motion picture featuring first time producer and actor, Tariq Alexander. Tariq will be joined by a stellar Cast/Crew with special guest appearances of Audition Winners, who were selected through a 40 City tour sponsored by The System Within Film Production company.
Nashville, TN, October 28, 2005 --(PR.com)-- The highly anticipated urban drama “The System Within” completed filming in New York City, July 29, 2005, and is set to begin premiere tour in Nashville TN January 17, 2006 according to THE SYSTEM WITHIN FILM PRODUCTION, LLC (TSW) and Raging Nations Films.
The cast includes seasoned actors: Hawthorne James (The Five Heartbeats, Speed, Seven), Bryce Wilson (Beauty Shop, Trois, Weekend Vibe) and the film debut of EMI rap star Chingy (Right Thurr, Ballin’ Baby). Dale Resteghini, who has earned the title “The King of Urban Independent Cinema”, directs the film.
Before others got on this unique casting bandwagon, TSW toured the nation by bus to audition thousands of talented but unknown actors, singer and dancers to participate in this first of a kind film project. This will combine the skills of working professionals with talented but untested amateur cast members, who were selected from a 2003 talent search.
The project is the brainchild of Tariq Alexander, a former model turned actor- producer who will make his film debut in The System Within. Alexander said “We wanted the real thing for this movie so we went on a grassroots expedition looking for talent outside of New York and Los Angeles. What we found was tremendous talent and a phenomenal support base for our project. The beauty of it is that this can be a launching pad for many careers and a platform for addressing issues that touch us all.”
The System Within is set in contemporary America, it explores the realities of being imprisoned by Federal conspiracy Laws and trapped by unjust Judicial sentencing guidelines. On the surface, this movie will have you grooving in your seats to the sounds of past & present urban rhythms, while the fashion hot off the runways of the world will have you rushing to your nearest tailor shop as the essence of urban pop culture embraces the collective mind. Upon further review, The System Within will reveal how corporations profit from racial profiling, negative capitalism, institutional slavery, stripping our youth of economic alternatives and moral values.
