Ring in the New Year at The Cove of Lake Geneva’s "50’s Rock and Roll Sock Hop" Party

Lake Geneva, WI, December 17, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Cove of Lake Geneva will be turning back the hands of time this New Year’s Eve at their ‘50’s Rock and Roll Sock Hop’ on December 31, 2011. The Party will begin at 7:00 pm and will last through 1:00 am.

The ‘50’s Rock and Roll Sock Hop’ Party will include an open bar all night long and kick off with delicious hors d’ oeuvres being served at 7:00 pm, which will include Mini Slider Burgers, Franks in a Blanket, Deviled Eggs, Filled Celery Sticks and Cheese Balls coated with Holiday Nuts.

Following hors d’oeuvres, guests will first be served “Salad Alice” which will include a plate of lettuce topped with Granny Smith Apples and Gorgonzola Cheese tossed in a Sweet Pecan Dressing. Guests will then enjoy a wonderful Rigatoni Pasta with Herbed Tomato Sauce topped with Fresh Grated Parmesan Cheese. The main course will consist of professional carving stations featuring; Chicken Breast Athenian, Roast inside Round of Beef Au Jus, and Virginia Ham garnished with Pineapple Rings. Dinner will also include baked Macaroni and Cheese, a Mashed Potato Bar with sides of Cheddar Cheese, Chive, Sour Cream and Bacon Bits, and a Medley of Steamed Vegetables.

Guests will spend the remainder of their evening dancing to live music by The Ragtops with a champagne toast and balloon drop at midnight. The night will also include a best 50’s costume contest, hoola hoop contest, and dance contest.
