Nominations Close This Week for Perspective Magazine Timeshare and Fractional Awards Program

The nomination window for entering the global timeshare and fractional industry awards program will close on Friday, December 23rd, with online voting to begin in January.

Orlando, FL, December 19, 2011 --( Timeshare and fractional companies planning to enter the Perspective Magazine Awards Program, sponsored by Holiday Systems International, only have until the end of this week to submit their entries and become part of the most comprehensive, global awards program of its kind in the industry. Winners will be announced at the conclusion of the Global Networking Expo, GNEX 2012 – A Global Meeting of Minds, in Cancun, Mexico.

Perspective Magazine ( created the awards program, with its exclusive online voting system, to allow companies from around the world to vie for the global recognition that comes from the largest, most widely read independent information provider in the timeshare and fractional industry.

After the close of nominations, entries will be posted on the GNEX 2012 conference section of the Perspective Magazine website at and online voting will begin during the first week of January, 2012. Once the nominations go live on the website, an announcement will be made through the company’s website and social media platforms and industry professionals will be asked to register an account on the website to maintain the credibility and accountability of the process. Once registered, voters can review the nominations and vote for their favorite company or individual.

Voting will take place for three weeks in January, with online votes to be combined with the decisions of a select panel of judges to determine the winners. Those winners will be announced the evening of February 2nd during a marvelous Gala dinner, at the Hacienda Tres Rios Resort, to conclude GNEX 2012.

Categories will include the always desirable awards of “Best Timeshare Resort” and “Best Fractional Resort”, with additional classifications covering areas such as management companies, marketing programs, legal services, financial services, design and media awards. New categories have been added such as an expansion of the “Best Developer Partner” category to include nominees from companies with more than 50 employees and also less than 50 employees. Individual awards have been included for sales and marketing professionals, entrepreneurs and the “Best Industry Leader.”

GNEX 2012, slated for January 31st – February 2nd, 2012, at the fabulous Ritz Carlton Cancun in Cancun, Mexico, will discuss the industry from a global viewpoint as resort professionals gather for the first industry event of the year to create business opportunities and develop strategic partnerships. Innovative networking events will be combined with interactive panel discussions and presentations to foster open, and sometimes controversial, discussion on the state of the vacation ownership industry. A networking lounge will be available to give attendees valuable opportunities to conduct business and delegates will also have access to all nightly social events included in their registration in addition to the Perspective Magazine Awards Gala dinner.
