Innovation Direct™ Enthused About Opportunity to Represent Patented Accu-Chute Invention to Potential Licensees in Industry

Miami, FL, December 18, 2011 --(PR.com)-- An innovative new patented product designed to make a common construction task much easier , the Accu-Chute, has been developed by Allan Williamson of East Falmouth, Massachusetts. The invention's unique design provides its users with an efficient and effective wheelbarrow accessory with which to complete a variety of manual labor tasks.

One such job is the pouring of concrete into sono tubes, which is normally a messy and time consuming proposition that involves two people. The pouring of concrete is a necessary and vital task in several different types of construction and building related work. Due to the weight and volume of the substance, the depositing of concrete without spillage can prove to be extremely challenging and cumbersome, even when two people are engaged in the activity.

Through its proprietary features, the Accu-Chute will allow one person to complete what was previously a two person task, thereby saving considerable time and money. The Accu-Chute will be attached to and rest securely on the front of a wheelbarrow through 4 heavy duty steel latches. Additionally, the attachment of the Accu-Chute is simple and requires no tools. In a matter of seconds a standard wheelbarrow can be converted into a multi-function wheelbarrow.

The product’s versatility will allow it to play an equally valuable role in the successful completion of tasks in the fencing, landscaping, and grain farming industries as well, as it will lend itself to effective use with solids, semi-solids, or liquid substances. It is designed to fit all standard 4,5, and 6 cubic foot steel wheelbarrows currently available and will attach in seconds. It is also conveniently lightweight, making it easily portable to any job site.

The Accu-Chute is the subject of U.S. Patent # 6,908,089. Additionally, the inventor has had hundreds of units of the product manufactured and has been featured on two nationally prominent home improvement television programs, Home Again and Ask This Old House. Mr. Williamson now seeks a third party licensee to market and distribute the product for him under a royalty agreement. Potential licensees in the construction and home improvement products industries are currently being targeted as candidates to eventually commercialize Accu-Chute on a worldwide basis.

In November 2011, Mr. Williamson contracted Miami, Florida-based product management services leader Innovation Direct™ to represent the Accu-Chute to potential licensees for a 2 year period. Innovation Direct™ obtains the maximum amount of exposure for the products that it represents through its unique and patented licensing methodology and its participation in multiple and diverse industry-leading trade shows each year.
