)-- Insight Global has wrapped up its second annual nationwide drive benefiting the US Marine Corps Reserve “Toys for Tots” program. Each of the 26 Insight Global offices nationwide gathered donations of toys for children ages 2-12 before the holidays. The company was able to donate well over 2000 toys this year, doubling the results from the first year.
Annie Roberts, Insight Global Public Relations Manager and coordinator of the efforts, commented, “Our second annual Toys for Tots Nationwide Drive was a huge success! I was extremely pleased to see our entire company continue to rally behind the mission of this worthy cause and give back in such a tangible way.”
“Toys for Tots” is a nationwide charitable drive to collect new, unwrapped toys which will be distributed as gifts to children across America. Insight Global offices set up trees and boxes to encourage both internal and external employees, families and friends to donate toys to the program. Each office collected between 50 and 250 toys for local children in need. The toys gathered ranged from dolls and coloring books to iPods and bicycles.
