The Eastco Group Assists Veterans with Healing
1. The American Bible Society releases audio drama resource to Veterans with PTSD. 2. Armed Services Ministry and VA chaplains helped to develop the series which was produced by The Eastco Group. 3. The series aims to highlight the idea that there is a common human thread that flows through our frailties and yet offers hope. 4. Orchard Park, NY, December 21, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Eastco Group’s California Road was pleased to be selected by The American Bible Society to produce an audio drama series as a resource to assist veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder.
Having worked with The American Bible Society in the past on several projects, Eastco was able to lend their wide range of professional services to tweak scripts, assemble great voice actor talent, record, mix and master the audio dramas in their full service studios located in Orchard Park, NY.
Armed Services Ministry in collaboration with Veteran Affairs (VA) chaplain consultants developed the series as a resource created to provide healing, hope and comfort to Veterans dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder and the spiritual, physical and emotional brokenness brought on by active duty service.
Based on the Spiritual Injury Scale used by VA chaplains, real life situations about Veterans are shared to help identify spiritual injuries that often lead to feelings of uncertainty. The series aims to highlight the feeling that there is a common human thread that flows through our frailties, our weaknesses, our heartaches and our sufferings—and a common thread of hope that so many have found through prayer and Scripture.
