Denver, CO, December 22, 2011 --(PR.com
)-- Terracare Associates, a Denver-based landscape maintenance company, has renewed its commitment to the Columbine Memorial Foundation to provide voluntary maintenance services to the Columbine Memorial for 2012.
The 1999 shooting at Columbine High School in Littleton Colorado touched the entire country and the world. As a community and nation, many were shocked in disbelief that such a senseless act could take place in one of our communities. Clement Park in Jefferson County, Colorado became the site of a permanent public memorial. Completed in 2007, the memorial serves to honor the innocent victims of the tragedy providing a historical record of the horrific event as well as to deliver a message of hope to the many generations to come.
The yearly maintenance of the memorial is substantial and had been difficult for the foundation to raise funds for year after year. Previously they relied completely on volunteers to assist in the maintenance of the memorial. In 2010, Terracare Associates volunteered to provide on-going maintenance services to the Columbine Memorial Foundation. Terracare Associates views their participation in this project honorably and understands the important role they play in contributing to the memory that this project represents.
Terracare Associates’ donation to maintain the Memorial has been a huge burden lifted from the Foundation, and one that is in line with the company’s core values to become intimately involved in the communities in which they work, live, and play.
Terracare Associates’ professional and committed team offers a full spectrum of maintenance services including; complete landscape management, irrigation system maintenance, annual color installations, snow removal, design services and public infrastructure maintenance. As an organization, they are committed to the local environment by protecting the health, safety and welfare of their communities, clients and staff. This dedication has allowed Terracare Associates to lead the outdoor industry in developing sustainable environments for more than 40 years, with a responsibility to ensure future generations have a landscape they can enjoy.
The company offers their maintenance and landscaping services throughout the Colorado and Northern California regions. Alongside the landscape maintenance division, a public infrastructure maintenance division offers privatized public works operations throughout the U.S.
