Warehouse Expansion Means Faster Deliveries for E&T Plastics’ Northern Midwest Customers

Blaine, MN, December 22, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Just five years after opening their sales and distribution center in Blaine, Minnesota, E&T Plastics has added 3,600-square-feet of warehousing space to the facility, increasing its overall size by 20 percent. A nationwide supplier of plastic sheet, rod, tube and film, E&T Plastics opened the Minnesota office in April 2006 to service customers in Minnesota, North and South Dakota, western Wisconsin, Iowa and nearby Canada. Ten sales and warehouse employees now work at the site.

According to Tom Tuckey, Branch Manager in Minnesota, the expansion allows E&T to stock up to ten additional container loads of material and provide customers with faster delivery of their most popular products. “We experienced considerable growth here in five short years and basically outgrew this facility,” Tuckey said. “Although E&T has been primarily a ‘see-through’ plastics distributor, we’ve become much more versatile since coming to Minnesota in order to support the region’s large print industry.”

Equipped with a Schelling computerized saw, E&T Plastics of MN, Inc. offers custom cutting of any material, regardless of order size. According to Tuckey, the Schelling saw can cut single, oversized sheets or thousands of 3/8-inch squares with precision and accuracy and is used mainly for large production cutting. The facility also has a vertical saw to handle smaller, quick-turnaround jobs.
