)-- Mark Shevitz, President of SJI, Inc., announced the promotion of Janice Schmitt to Vice President, Fulfillment and Beth Wood to Vice President, Promotion and Events.
In her new role, Schmitt will lead operations and logistics, managing the Fulfillment side of the SJI business. Schmitt was previously Director of Operations and has been employed with SJI since 1992. Prior to SJI, she designed software solutions for a Chicago-based software company.
In her new role, Wood will lead the Promotion and Events sides of the SJI business, overseeing idea generation, creative development, mobile tours, events, and social media. Wood has been with SJI cumulatively for seven years. Prior to SJI, she worked on the corporate side of marketing for a global manufacturing company.
