UFO-Paranormal Photo Fakery Examined on New Web-Series at ITS-DMS.com

In the latest episode of “Walking With The Paranormal,” photo and video expert Ken Tait of AikenLabs.com explains how to examine “paranormal” photos and videos for fakery on The Paranormal Investigations Channel At ITS-DMS.com.

St. Louis, MO, December 29, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Missouri-based digital content distributor AD Online, LLC. (ADO) announces the availability of the latest “Walking With The Paranormal” episode, Photographic Evidence, featuring Ken Tait of AikenLabs.com on the Paranormal Investigations Channel at internet television station ITS-DMS.com.

Since the invention of film, special effects have always been half the fun for the photographer. Even without todays computer programs for complete imagery manipulation, double and timed exposures, “Picture-on-picture” and inter-format shooting, and dark room trickery have been part of the photographer hobbyists’ fun. The result has been that, throughout modern history, photographic and video footage offered as proof of alleged UFO’s, Bigfoot, and other “paranormal activity” to come under scrutiny often resulting in greatly varying conclusions. Such “proof” becomes suspicious from the beginning.

Board member, and president of the UFO-Paranormal Study Group of Greater St. Louis, Joe Palermo says, “Tait had only begun an interest in learning about the UFO phenomena when this interview was shot. I’ve known Ken for a few years now and I wanted him for this interview because he speaks not only from an educated point of view but also from several decades of experience. He’s certainly not one to jump to conclusions.”

Regarding what Tait refers to as “the chain of evidence,” they learn that film is always preferable to a digitally shot image because of the greater amount of data due to the granular properties of film. Digital shooting goes through a compression process that discards what could be important, identifying data. Such commentary could be the start of a comeback for film manufacturers and retailers.

Ken Tait works with AikenLabs.com, a division of Aiken Development LLC, that was formed in early 2010 to focus specifically on unique game and digital application interfaces.
