Rainbow Riders' Releases a Line of iPhone, iPad, and iPod Travel Applications

Denmark-based application development company, Rainbow Riders' releases a line of travel applications that can help travelers find their way around Amsterdam, Boston and Milan.

Copenhagen, Denmark, December 30, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Rainbow Riders makes traveling to Amsterdam, Boston and Milan easier and more accessible to travelers and vacationers by introducing a line of travel applications for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod, which they collectively call “25 things to do in.”

“25 things to do in” travel applications feature an easy to use interface that is especially designed for people on the go. The apps compile 25 of the best attractions that each of the featured city has to offer, hence the name “25 things to do in.” Such attractions are divided into five categories: restaurants, must-see sights, cultural experiences, places of relaxation, and bars and clubs. Each of the attractions included in the applications contain a brief description and contact information, while the restaurants include a quick view of price ranges.

According to the developer, limiting the number of attractions to 25 makes it easier for travelers to find the next best stop to visit without the need to waste time going through hundreds of places of interests. In return, they will be able to spend their time doing the things they enjoy and making their trip all the more convenient.

Another thing worth mentioning about the said line of travel applications is that each of them has a map that works offline. Such feature can be regarded as unique considering that most travel applications available in the market today require users to have an Internet or WiFi connection to be able to enjoy their full features. The maps pinpoint exactly where the user is and how far he or she is away from a certain place of interest.

“25 things to do in may not be as comprehensive compared to other travel applications, but they are definitely a great travel companion that supplies relevant information about the featured cities,” said one of the representatives of Rainbow Riders. He also added that “introducing this line of travel applications is our initial step in helping travelers feel more in control of their trips and in the next few months we will be updating our applications and add new key destinations so that everyone can enjoy 25 things to do in when they travel.”

At the moment, “25 things to do in” is available for Amsterdam, Boston, and Milan. Complete versions (which are also available in German) can be availed at the Apple App Store for $0.99, but the lite version of each application can also be downloaded.
