Bay Point Urgent Care Open for Service

Tampa, FL, December 30, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Bay Point Urgent Care, at 1155 S. Dale Mabry Rd. across from the Publix shopping center, is now open to patients in need immediate medical assistance. The hours of operation are Monday – Friday from 9:00am – 9:00pm and Saturday/Sunday from 9:00am – 6:00pm.

Bay Point Urgent Care provides walk-in care for minor injuries and illnesses. Conditions treated include ear and eye infections, fever, minor cuts that may need stitches, possible broken bones or simple fractures, minor skin infections, severe sore throat, sprains and strains, vomiting and diarrhea, and work related injuries. The state of the art facility is equipped with advanced technology including digital x-ray and an electronic medical records (EMR) system.

Dr. Andrew A. Boyer, a native of Tampa, is the medical director and owner. Upon graduation from Jesuit High School and completion of his undergraduate education at Tulane University, Dr. Boyer attended Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. He has extensive training and experience in Urgent Care, Orthopaedics and Emergency Medicine.
