Short Sale Mitigation/AA Premier Property, LLC Asked to Speak at Weichert Realtors

Maryann Little, VP of Short Sale Mitigation, was asked to speak at Weichart Realtors, Points East, Portsmouth, New Hampshire on December 6, 2011.

Portsmouth, NH, January 05, 2012 --(PR.com)-- “We are always thrilled to be asked to speak at a brokerage,” says Little who works along side her Broker Partner Nick Aalerud, “Believe it or not there is still a lot of trepidation around short sales for Real Estate Agents. We are happy to give some insight in the ever changing process of short sales.” -Maryann Little

Fred Attalla, Co-Broker and owner of Weichert explained his decision to ask a 3rd party negotiation firm to speak at his brokerage, “Short Sales have become a regular occurrence in our market, and we've heard good things about the services that Short Sale Mitigation provided to everyone in the transaction. Agents need to be kept informed for the possibility of a short sale. What may start out as a typical listing may be reduced to a short sale. An informed agent will have the required knowledge moving forward. That’s where their services come to the forefront.” -Fred Attalla

Nearly 50% of the market is distressed according to national figures. The seacoast market is now feeling the pinch of property values being less than what is owed. In November foreclosures were up 70% in Massachusetts in contrast to the previous year in November 2010 according to the Warren Group.

Fred’s office became a Weichert affiliate in 2008, and merged with Yankee Trader in 2010 with over 29 agents, “We believe the Seacoast will lead the rest of NH out of the recession. In general NH has been doing a little better than the rest of New England - statistically - and the Seacoast is the bright spot within the state. We hope for a modest increase during 2012 - certainly better than 2010 and 2011.” -Fred Attalla

Little and Aalerud have been asked to speak to several brokerages in the last year. “Between Nick and I, we seem to be speaking every other week at brokerages about the benefits of short sales for homeowners. We are largely a word of mouth company. We’ve seen an increase in the last month because there is a rumor one of the negotiation companies in New Hampshire is closing down. I guess they worked with a lot of agents so our volume has increased.” -Maryann Little
