Indianapolis Based Junk Removal and Hauling Company Junk Dawgs Adds One Job

Inspired by the economic times, a local junk removal and hauling company has answered the call and grew their business by one by hiring an office manager.

Indianapolis, IN, January 04, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Junk Dawgs is a professional and reliable alternative to the typical junk removal and hauling businesses that people are used to. Rather than showing up in an old pick up or beat up trailer with “cash only” deals, Indianapolis residents and DOD firefighters Bennett Grove and Aaron Tietje have been successfully running a junk removal business that affords clients the convenience, comfort and reliability of a dependable and legitimate operation. The company provides junk removal for Indianapolis and the surrounding areas.

Many firefighters pick up work on their off days, or start different businesses themselves, but in today’s economy it has become an even bigger challenge than before. If you turn on the news networks, or listen to our politicians and business leaders, they all will say in some fashion that it is small business that will turn the country around. While Aaron and Bennett realize their venture is a grain of sand on the scale of unemployment in this economy, they have managed to do their part and create their first job with their Indianapolis based junk removal company.

The two owners of Junk Dawgs, B.J. Grove and Aaron Tietje, became friends while serving active duty in the United State Air Force. Both men were firefighters in the Air Force and served at Eielson Air Force Base in Fairbanks, Alaska. The two maintained their close friendship after finishing their commitments to the military and wound up working together again at Grissom Air Reserve Base in Peru, Indiana as civilian firefighters.

The name “Junk Dawgs” was inspired by a nickname given to firefighters who graduate from the Department of Defense’s Louis F. Garland Fire Academy at Goodfellow Air Force Base in San Angelo, Texas. During their schooling, recruits are called “fire dawgs” until and after they graduate, unless they wash out. The two owners wanted to keep that spelling and term to keep their fire department roots while also implementing their new endeavor… Junk Dawgs was born! The company’s logos, graphics, and website all illustrate a business that is entrenched in those fire department roots while also maintaining a professional and reliable attitude toward junk removal. The two hope Junk Dawgs will solidify itself as a reliable business in Indianapolis, but they also want to be involved in the community and became a positive influence in the Indianapolis area.
