My Mad Methods Magazine Contributors Demonstrating at Los Angeles Fitness Expo Booth

Los Angeles, CA, January 11, 2012 --(PR.com)-- My Mad Methods Magazine, in partnership with Brood 9 Martial Arts, Wolf Fitness Systems, and Socal MMA & Fitness, will have a booth at the 2012 Los Angles Fitness Expo near the Gracie US Nationals Jiu Jitsu Tournament. The double-booth space will be used to demonstrate a series of unconventional training exercises and methods for functional strength, conditioning, agility, and balance.

“We’re very excited to be able to demonstrate all the excellent, efficient unconventional training methods that are discussed throughout MyMadMethods.com and the My Mad Methods Magazine,” stated Mark de Grasse, owner of My Mad Methods. “Fortunately, my business partners and friends Anthony Eisenhower, John Wolf, and Joey Alvarado will be participating. They’ll be demonstrating and teaching throughout the event.”

The 2012 Los Angeles Fitness Expo, now in its 9th year, attracts over 35,000 attendees and 300 exhibitors. This year will feature 15 competitions including strongman, olympic lifting, arm wrestling, the first annual Javier Vazuqez Wrestling Nationals, and the Gracie US Nationals. The event will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center and will be open all day on both Saturday, January 28th and Sunday, January 29th.

The My Mad Methods booths will feature promotional materials and a workout space for demonstrating kettlebells, sanbags, slegehammers, calisthenics, and other unconventional training methods. Mark de Grasse, Anthony Eisenhower, John Wolf, and Joey Alvarado will be on hand presenting a number of topics. The schedule for the event will be available online before the event.

The presentation schedule will include: Mastering the Quad Press by John Wolf, an Introduction to Kettle-Jitsu Training by Joey Alvarado, Agility Training for Stunt Work by Anthony Eisenhower, and Sandbag Training for Full Body Strength by Mark de Grasse.

Visitors to the booth are welcome to watch and participate in the presentations and ask questions of each trainer. Each presenter has written multiple articles for the My Mad Methods Magazine and has contributed to the unconventional training community for a number of years.

Anthony Eisenhower is the owner of Brood 9 Martial Arts in Los Angeles and has over 15 years of experience studying, practicing and teaching martial arts including Muay Thai, Tae Kwon Do, Coju-jitsu, Capoeira, Kenpo Karate, Gung Fu, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Pankration. Anthony also performs stunt and fight choreography for music videos, commercials and various film and television projects; past projects include Alias and Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

John Wolf is the owner of Wolf Fitness Systems in Salinas, California, Monterey County’s premier provider of fitness/wellness solutions. He is also the creator of Evolution Kettlebell Groundwork, a unique training system which utilizes bodyweight and kettlebell exercises involving flowing ground movements to improve conditioning, flexibility, and agility. His DVD, Evolution Kettlebell Groundwork Volume 1 has been sold to trainees in over 20 different countries.

Joey Alvarado is the owner and head trainer of Socal MMA & Fitness based in East Los Angeles, California. Joey is a former professional MMA fighter and competitive grappler, and the developer of Kettle-Jitsu, a unique blend of Jiu Jitsu bodyweight exercises and newly developed kettlebell exercises. His workout DVDs, Combat Kettlebell Systems and Shadow-Jitsu Bodyweight Training have been used by trainers, coaches, and mma fighters around the world to increase strength, conditioning, and agility.

In addition to unconventional training presentations, visitors to the My Mad Methods booth are also invited to participate in our Feats of Strength to win prizes. The Feats of Strength involve kettlebell, bodyweight, and sandbag exercises for max weight or reps. Winners will receive free t-shirts, subscriptions to the My Mad Methods Magazine, workout gear, and more. The My Mad Methods Booth will be in spaces 160 and 161 directly across from the Gracie US Nationals.
