North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association Leaders Participate in White House Roundtable

NCVMA Executive Director and President Travel to Capitol on Jan. 12

Raleigh, NC, January 12, 2012 --( The North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association ( has announced that Claire Holley, executive director, and Dr. Chessie Green, president, are both attending a White House Roundtable discussion on jobs and the economy sponsored by the White House Business Council and Business Forward on Thursday, Jan. 12 at the White House in Washington, D.C.

Since April 2011, the White House Business Council has held more than 500 meetings with business and civic leaders in all 50 states, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico, with the two-fold purpose of getting feedback on what the Administration can do to support job creation and ensuring that local business leaders are aware of Administration programs and resources to help them grow and succeed.

“We are pleased to be asked to participate in the White House Business Council and Business Forward’s program bringing business leaders from various states to the Capitol for a forum with government officials,” said Holley. “It is wonderful to be included in this important effort to get more Americans back to work and ensure the health of our local business community.”
