Out of the Box Thinking Brings Them into the House

Atlanta, GA, May 10, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Scott Eaves of the Inside Atlanta Team at Keller Williams Realty/Atlanta Classic is utilizing “out of the box” marketing to attract buyers. This past weekend, Eaves hired a costume character, Spiderman, to stand at the intersection of Peachtree Road and Lindbergh Drive to direct traffic to his Open House at the Barony on Peachtree. Eaves had to do something different to attract people. Due to the location of the building, there was no place for traditional Open House signs and balloons. He stated that the marketing activity attracted seven people to his Open House including another Realtor and a couple from a neighboring apartment building.

Eaves is thinking outside of the box to sell homes because a buyer's market exists in most of Metro Atlanta. He defines a buyer's market as an area where if there are no more properties placed on the market today, there would be at least six months of inventory available to potential buyers. Hence, sellers are out numbering buyers in today's market. He does insist that some properties do sell in less time. His strategy is simple – price, condition and prospected-enhanced marketing. A property in good condition should be priced at or just below the median home price in the area. Condition and price are everything! Buyers want the house to look and feel good and they want to know the value is there. Eaves uses a 50+ marketing plan that is prospect-enhanced and includes out of the box strategies to sell homes in today's market.

Eaves' works for Keller Williams Realty/Atlanta Classic and concentrates on residential resales.
