The first class on estate planning is scheduled for Tuesday January 17th at 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at Mt. Attorney Guthrie’s presentations at both libraries are free of cost to the public and will last about an hour in duration with time with a session for all questions after the presentation. The class will go in to the basics of estate planning and explain the issues of what estate planning is, what happens if you have no estate plan, what kinds of estate plans there are, what happens with probate, what a will and a living trust do, what durable powers of attorney, living wills and healthcare powers of attorney do, what mistakes to avoid, and how to best get started and get things organized.
