Shop for Change

Decorah, IA, January 13, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Started by three college students in late 2011, ChangeJars.com is a new way to shop online. You visit the website before you make your purchase, select where you want your donation to go, and then you get to shop on the retailers website.

"We are excited and ridiculously motivated by the change we are creating," says founder Tyler Zey. "Everyday we interact with various non-profits and users of the site, it's really motivating to see people this excited about cause related organizations."

What is most interesting about the website, is it's capacity to change why people shop. Usually, shopping is a very intrinsic activity. You shop for yourself. How often other than Christmas and Birthday's do we actually shop for others? Well now you can do both at the same time.
