Russell Davidson is a Professor and Economist at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. Professor Davidson received a Bachelor's of Science degree with Honors in Mathematics and Physics, a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics at the University of Glasgow in Scotland as well as a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of British Columbia. Professor Davidson is the author of numerous published words including "Reliable Inference for the Gini Index" in the Journal of Econometrics and Co-Author of "Estimation and Inference in Econometrics" and "Econometric Theory and Methods", Oxford University Press, New York. Professor Davidson is a Fellow of the Econometric Society, the Recipient of the Prize for Excellence in Research from Queen's University and a member of the Canadian Economics Association.
