Orlando Health Attorney to Speak at Central Florida Nurses Seminar

Joanne Kenna, an attorney with The Health Law Firm who is also a registered nurse, will speak at the Central Florida Chapter Infusion Nursing Society Annual Seminar about protecting a nursing license.

Orlando, FL, January 18, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Orlando health care attorney Joanne Kenna, an attorney with The Health Law Firm who is also a registered nurse, will speak at the Central Florida Chapter Infusion Nursing Society Annual Seminar on January 25. Ms. Kenna has been asked to present a lecture on protecting a nursing license.

The Infusion Nurses Society (INS) is a national nonprofit organization. Membership is open to all healthcare professionals from all practice settings who are involved in or interested in the specialty practice of infusion therapy. INS is dedicated to advancing the delivery of quality therapy to patients, enhancing the specialty through stringent standards of practice and professional ethics, and promoting research and education in the infusion nursing practice.The Central Florida Chapter of INS maintains membership throughout Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Lake and Volusia counties. Chapter meetings are held throughout the year that include educational offerings and networking with colleagues.

Kenna practices with The Health Law Firm in its Altamonte Springs office representing health professionals and providers in professional licensing and credentialing matters, professional board representation, administrative hearings, contracts, licensure issues, corporate matters, transactional matters and litigation. Prior to her legal career, Kenna was a registered nurse practicing at the University of Chicago Hospitals and Clinics and continues to maintain an active Illinois nursing license. She is a member of The American Association of Nurse Attorneys (T.A.A.N.A.) and has served as a director and as president of the Tampa Bay Chapter of T.A.A.N.A. She appears frequently before the Florida Board of Nursing and represents CRNAs, ARNPs, and Registered Nurses (RNs), as well as other health professionals.
