MADD’s 2012 Corporate and Community Champions of Phoenix to be Honored by Media Made for You on Jan. 26
Tempe, AZ, January 22, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Media Made for You is proud to honor Phoenix’s corporate and community champions whom have dedicated themselves to the fight against drunk driving. Media Made for You will honor the 2012 MADD Corporate and Community Champions on Thursday, January 26, at the Arizona Country Club.
Among those being honored are Doryce Norwood, Diana Okabayashi and Dr. Pearl Browne. All three women work tirelessly to curb DUIs, having experienced firsthand the trauma and sorrow a drunk driver can cause. All three women also volunteer in some capacity with MADD.
“We’re honored to be able to help recognize the importance of these women,” said Jay Lopez of Media Made for You. “Mothers Against Drunk Driving is a cause worthy of recognition as are those who work so diligently to raise awareness of the seriousness of drunk driving and who, by their efforts, discourage people from driving drunk.
“All of the people being honored have made specific and measurable contributions to the fight against drunk driving,” Lopez said. “Their lives were touched by the tragedy drunk drivers can cause and they work very hard to raise awareness for MADD. They’ve never asked for recognition. We simply feel that their efforts ought to be noted.”
The evening’s events will include presentation of MADD awards to each recipient, an introduction by Media Made for You, appetizers and beverages, and time to mingle and congratulate recipients.
