Debbie Houston, President of Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston Builder Services (www.hpwnewhomes.com), has announced that Jim Cox (MIRM, CSP, Broker) has joined Builder Services as Vice President, Land Acquisition, Lot Sales, and Sales Management. He will oversee the acquisition and sale of land and lots to builders and developers, as well as the acquisition and sales management of new communities. Cox is a 27 year veteran of the new homes industry, having served as a sales and marketing executive in several markets, including the past 15 in the Triangle area. Jim is a member of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), the Home Builders Association of Wake County (HBA), and the Raleigh Board of Realtors; he currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Wake County HBA. He has an associates degree in Construction Management and the Master in Residential Marketing (MIRM) designation. Jim also served in the United States Navy; he has a grown son and daughter, and currently resides in Cary with his wife Cheryl.
