Brett Furman, President of RE/MAX Short Sale Division, Hires Jason Sutjiawan

St. Davids, PA, January 28, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Real Estate Broker Brett Furman, co-owner of RE/MAX Classic, has added the first person to the firms Distressed Real Estate Division. The firm aligned with Villanova University and has created an internship program for top students. Mr. Sutjiawan is a Sophomore majoring in Economics and Finance. Before enrolling in Villanova School of Business, Sutjiawan graduated Cum Laude from the Stony Brook School in Long Island, NY.

Since his freshman year at Villanova, Sutjiawan has been heavily involved with the Economics Society. Currently, he holds the Vice President position for the Society. Being exposed to discussions and debates regarding real estate troubles has fueled Sutjiawan’s curiosity and motivation to experience working in the industry first hand.

"My college & graduate school internships were instrumental in helping me propel a real estate career. I wanted to be able to give back to the local academic community," says Brett Furman, creator/founder of Furman Home Selling Services.

Sutjiawan, now part of the Short Sale Division, will be responsible for evaluating the short sale database and building economic models to analyze the movement of the market that includes absorption rate. In addition, Sutjiawan will also be helping to market the newly launched product through online advertising.
