Central Scholarship Appoints New Program Manager

Baltimore, MD, February 04, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Central Scholarship has named Jennifer Bauer as Program Manager. In her role as Program Manager, Jennifer will work with Central Scholarship’s program department to generate interest in and to administer Central Scholarship’s funding programs. Jennifer will work closely with students as they apply for scholarships and loans through Central Scholarship’s online application.

Jennifer earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Bowie State University. Experienced advisor to at-risk youth in Baltimore and the District of Columbia, Jennifer has assisted families and communities with navigating college admissions and financial aid terrains. Previously she has served in direct service and leadership roles in the college access arena.

“We are so excited to have Jennifer on board. She brings great skills to the position and is a welcome addition to our program department,” says Jan Wagner, President and CEO at CSB.

Central Scholarship enables students to pursue education or training after high school through scholarship opportunities and interest-free loans that fund the gap after all other financial aid has been awarded. Established in 1924 and with over $1 million in scholarships awarded annually, we screen student applications against dozens of scholarship opportunities according to criteria established by our donors. With a deep connection to our students and the local community, our uniqueness is in our approach: we are investing in the future of our students, their families and the neighborhoods in which they live.
