)-- Eight Virtues Martial Arts Forges Alliance with Inner City Ministry to Offer High Risk Kids Martial Arts Instruction
Eight Virtues Martial Arts has agreed to a strategic alliance with Compton Heights Baptist Church in St. Louis Missouri. Eight Virtues Martial Arts offers instruction in the ancient art of Kung Fu, with an emphasis on Martial Moralities and Martial Arts.
Eight Virtues Martial Arts will provide the Martial Arts instruction, Historical studies of the societies in which Martial Arts originated, and self-defense lessons. Students will solicit family, friends and neighbors to donate equipment, uniforms and floor mats, as well as attend special events such as tournaments. The Compton Heights Inner City Martial Arts Program offers inner city children the opportunity to study martial arts and keep them off the streets, and help guide them as they grow. Eight Virtues Martial Arts Chairman Jason Cook stated, “We are very excited to have formed an alliance with Compton Heights Baptist Church. We feel strongly that this martial arts program will benefit the kids, not just by teaching them martial arts, but also by giving them strong role models and building a foundation of strong moral character that will influence them the rest of their lives.”
