Exterity Appoints International Sales Director

Richard Phillips promoted to help network IPTV provider expand overseas. Exterity, a specialist in network IPTV, has today announced the appointment of Richard Phillips as International Sales Director

London, United Kingdom, May 16, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Exterity, a specialist in network IPTV, has today announced the appointment of Richard Phillips as International Sales Director. Richard will be responsible for identifying and developing Exterity’s overseas markets, concentrating on the corporate, education and hospitality markets. Richard will report directly to Exterity’s CEO, Colin Farquhar.

Richard, who has held the position of Sales Manager at Exterity for the past three years, will be tasked with identifying the most appropriate overseas markets for the company to invest in. He will also be responsible for choosing relevant partners and systems integrators and recruiting and managing an international sales team.

“Overseas development is a vital element of our expansion strategy,” commented Colin Farquhar, CEO, Exterity. “Richard’s experience and understanding of the international market-place, together with the increasing popularity of network IPTV, will ensure that Exterity is well placed to continue to take advantage of network convergence.”

Before joining Exterity, Richard held several senior international sales roles at companies such as Nortel Networks, Bay Networks and Xylogics. Most recently, Richard set up and ran his own management consultancy, aimed at helping technology start-ups maximise all sales opportunities.

In his spare time, Richard is an avid golfer and sailor as well as an active member of Mensa.
