Southlake, TX, May 16, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Remember the days of mud pies and playing outside until dark? How about collecting bugs for fishing or swimming in the lake? Do your kids have memories like these, or do you find them with stories of video games and movies? Today, you find more children overweight, tired all the time, and unskilled in the outdoors. Why? Maybe because we as parents sometimes get too busy to take our families camping, bike riding, or on a picnic. Are you ready for a change this summer? Let your children get a little dirty, frolick in the grass, and just play outside - experience some of the things you did as a kid. Open their eyes to the outdoors!

Opening their doors in 2004, Adventure Team Outreach has grown to 11 weeks of Summer Day Camp as well as a week during Spring Break. Each week of camp only holds space for 40 campers - allowing the campers and their parents to get to know the staff and other campers. This has proven to be a great model, and many campers return for multiple weeks, year after year. For those returning, yes, Mr. Anthony is back!

They even have a water trampoline that was a big hit last summer.

On July 4th, campers are invited to bring their families out for a day of Family Fun. Come out and play together, then stay and watch the fireworks!

Camp Director, Jennifer Patterson, has a passion for the outdoors and working with children. She has a strong desire to get to know the campers and strengthen their outdoor skills. She lives in Colleyville with her husband, Travis, 12 year old son, Justin, and 2 chocolate labs, Jessie and Jake. Growing up, they all went camping, fishing, and hunting - things they wants kids today to experience.

Feel free to give Jennifer a call at 972-741-9169 or visit www.AdventureTeamKids.com if you have any questions. Registration is already open, so get your kids signed up soon!

Also, on June 16th, grab the family (or a group of friends) and come out for the Annual Adventure Team Road Rally. This year, the route will run through the streets of Colleyville and include some fun challenges, trivia, and interesting activities. For those not familiar with a Road Rally, teams consist of at least 2 members, and you drive in your vehicle along a route, answering questions, completing fun challenges, and working together as a team to reach the finish line with the best overall score. Prizes are given away for the winners. The entry fee is $15 per person and includes lunch (a maximum of $60 per family/team). This year, the event benefits The DFW Humane Society and the PKD Foundation (Polycystic Kidney Disease). For more details, visit www.AdventureTeam.com or call 972-741-9169.
