Raleigh, NC, February 24, 2012 --(PR.com
)-- Dean Ogan, owner of Rocky Top Hospitality (http://www.rockytophospitality.com), has announced that its downtown Raleigh restaurant, Draft Carolina Burgers & Beers, donated $500 of its proceeds of sales raised on Feb. 11 to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society®, the world’s largest voluntary health agency dedicated to blood cancer. Focused on curing leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, the goal is to improve the overall quality of life for patients and their families.
“Draft Carolina Burgers & Beers, along with all other Rocky Top Hospitality restaurants, is committed to not only providing our customers with the best dining options, but finding ways to give back to the community in which we serve,” said Ogan. “The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society works tirelessly on behalf of blood cancer patients to help them live longer and healthier lives, but it needs proper funding to conduct research and provide education and patient services, which is why we are proud to lend a hand to this deserving organization.”
