Delaware County Lawyer to Serve on Middletown Township Council, Filling Vacancy in 2nd District

Philadelphia, PA, March 17, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Margaret J. Amoroso of the Pennsylvania labor union and employment law firm Willig, Williams & Davidson has been appointed as an interim member of the Township Council of Middletown Township in Delaware County, Pa. Recently sworn in, Amoroso is filling a vacancy in the Township’s 2nd District. She will run for the permanent seat in the April 24, 2012 special election.

As a Council member, Amoroso will assist in setting policy for the township and will aid in the oversight of public service programs. Amoroso also serves as an Assistant County Solicitor for Delaware County, a post she has held since 1991.

The managing attorney of Willig, Williams & Davidson’s Media, Pa., office, Amoroso has been practicing law for more than 25 years. She counsels and represents clients in real estate, domestic relations, consumer law and criminal defense matters. As Assistant County Solicitor, she handles dependency matters for the County’s Children & Youth Services, as well as appeals for the Department of Public Welfare.
