Starting a Freelance Writing Business—Here’s What You Need to Know

Freelance writing teleclasses provide step-by-step education needed to get start a business as a freelance writer

Nashville, TN, May 25, 2007 --(PR.com)-- There are online classes for just about anything you want to learn. Now there’s Writers on Call—weekly teleclasses for freelance writers who are trying to start their own business and make a living with their writing talent. Subscribers to the writing classes connect via telephone conference lines each Thursday at 7 p. m. Central Time to learn more about the craft and business of writing.

These information-rich writing teleclasses are facilitated by two full-time freelance writers. Yvonne Perry is a published author, freelance writer, and the owner of Write On! Creative Writing Services. She and her team of writers provide ghostwriting for articles, press releases, books, Web site text and marketing material for individuals and corporations. Suzanne Lieurance is a former classroom teacher, now a freelance writer, children's author, speaker, and The Working Writer's Coach. She is the founder and director of the National Writing for Children Center and the Children's Writers Coaching Club.

Beginning May 17th Yvonne will launch a 6-part series on How to Start and Manage a Freelance Writing Business. In class one: Planning for your Future Business, she will discuss four ways to make your move into a successful business venture. After being led through a personal assessment of your ability to operate a business, subscribers will learn how to count the cost of setting up a home office with the equipment and the computer software needed. In the following five classes she will teach students step-by-step how to begin and then manage all aspects of operating a freelance writing business.

A monthly fee of $37 includes nearly four hours of coaching and interactive teaching on a variety of writing related topics:
