The Chef’s Academy Receives Morrisville Chamber of Commerce Community Steward of the Year Award

Local Culinary Institution Named 2012 Recipient of Award for Excellence and Giving Back Triangle Community

Raleigh, NC, March 23, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The Chef’s Academy (http://www.thechefsacademy.com), the Culinary Division of Harrison College, a 110-year-old, nationally accredited institution that offers 40 degree programs in five schools of study, has announced that the Morrisville Chamber of Commerce recognized the institution as the 2012 Jeremiah Morris Community Steward of the Year Award recipient. The Morrisville Chamber of Commerce presented the award, and others, at its 21st Annual Meeting on Feb. 17 at the Hilton RDU, located at 4810 Page Creek Lane in Durham, N.C. Created in the spirit of Jeremiah Morris, for whom Morrisville was named, the Community Steward of the Year Award honors companies that provide excellent working environments while giving back to the local community.
